About Our School & Model
Learn about NextGen's philosophy, approach, and unique features
NextGen School of Britain is a pioneering, fully online independent school in the UK. We provide a complete British education for Key Stages 1 through to A-Levels (Years 1-13), seamlessly integrated with a values-based Islamic Studies curriculum. We are more than a tutoring service; we are a registered school community where students learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive online environment.
Our distinctiveness lies in three core pillars:
- Holistic Islamic Ethos: Our faith-based values of compassion, integrity, and respect are woven into the fabric of daily school life and pastoral care.
- Academic Rigour: We follow the UK National Curriculum and offer Pearson Edexcel qualifications, taught by UK-qualified teachers (QTS).
- Secure, Interactive Platform: Lessons are delivered live and interactively by teachers from our secure school hub, ensuring a professional, safeguarding-led learning environment—not from personal homes.
All our UK-qualified teachers deliver lessons live from our dedicated school premises in the United Kingdom. This centralised approach guarantees high-quality teaching resources, consistent safeguarding protocols, and a stable, professional learning environment for every student.
NextGen School of Britain is committed to educational excellence. We are a Pearson Edexcel examination centre and are pursuing recognition from relevant UK educational bodies. Our programmes are designed to meet UK independent school standards.

Our main academic year begins in early September. We understand families may need to join mid-term, and we provide full induction support and catch-up sessions to ensure a smooth transition.
Academic Day & Curriculum
Details about our daily schedule and educational programmes
The live school day runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM UK time (GMT/BST), Monday to Friday. The schedule includes live lessons, form tutor sessions, Islamic Studies, and enrichment activities. We also integrate dedicated time for prayers (Salah) within the day for our Muslim students.

We offer a broad range of subjects, including core English, Mathematics, and Sciences (Double/Triple Award). Our humanities, language, and creative arts options are expanding. A key feature of our curriculum is the integrated Islamic Studies and Arabic programme, which runs alongside the standard curriculum for all Muslim students.
Homework is set to consolidate learning. Expect approximately:
- KS3: 60-90 minutes per day.
- GCSE (Years 10-11): 90-120 minutes per day.
